Gaming connects with learning because you don't realize you're learning while playing a game. This helps with remembering things and understanding more on the topic without boring studying. Gaming is also fun and enjoyable to do which can cause students to look forward to doing it. While playing the Oregon Trail, it helped me gain a fuller understanding of how life was back then and what families did for a living. Without realizing it, i learned a lot and also had fun.
